My nonna died many years ago taking with her many recipes that I loved as a child and a young adult. I recognized this recipe as soon as I saw it! Our family called them Cioffs. Nonna's were so light and airy they literally melted in your mouth. I can't WAIT to try this recipe. Hopefully, someday I'll be able to duplicate them to match how Nonna made them!
